October is ADHD Awareness Month – an international movement to educate the public and create greater awareness and understanding about attention deficit disorder.

I am determined to help spread the word – and I invite you to spread the word with me!

The ADHD Awareness Month Coalition has put together a rich array of resources to use in getting the word out. These include a press kit, posters, fact sheets, a calendar listing 31 ways to spread the word… and more!

I will be working with the calendar to post the daily ADHD Awareness Month Coalition suggestions in my blog. Like dropping a pebble in a pond, my hope is that, by sharing these suggestions in daily blog posts, some of you, my readers, will further share the suggestions …  and awareness will ripple out in larger and larger circles.

I hope you will join me this month in building broader awareness of ADHD!

Here’s the first step (a very simple step):

Stay informed!

It’s easy to stay up to date with ADHD Awareness Month activities and information by signing up for emails at:

Spread the word further by sending the link to friends and family members!

Thanks for all you do this month to support ADHD awareness!
